Never being the one to go with the mainstream, Miuccia Prada’s latest venture is into the customisation of eyewear. The new line, called Prada Private, consist of glasses with removable arms which can be personalised with letters or symbols like hearts and skulls. The glasses are designed with a special mechanism which allows the arms to be removed and the symbols to be screwed in. The glasses, which are now available in most Prada stores, come with the original PR symbols which can be replaced by buying the whole set of letters or buying them individually. There is a choice of white, black and tortoiseshell.
