My friend Kevin Lanre from The Whorington invited me to shot Thai Matic‘s opening concert before the Jay Electronica show at Cargo here in Shoreditch, East London. I suggest to all of you to download the best mixtape of the summer in the UK, Thai Matic “Let Me Land”. Dj Semtex was in the building as well tonight.

Jay Electronica performance was simply too much. He is maybe the best real hip hop mc of the moment. I really felt the vibes and the energy that Erikah Badu’s partner was giving to the people when he was on the stage. He invited his fans to come on the stage with him and he finished his concert down rapping in the middle of the crowd. Real recognizes real. These below are some of the photos I took tonight.
