Arabeschi di Latte is a very special collective. Founded in 2001 by Francesca Sarti, the group is formed by italian young women designers with a passion for food and conviviality that really have changed the concept of food and design communication. Their creations and events are often a unique vital experience with you always feel comfortable. It is also a mobile collective divided between Rome, Florence, and now, Milan. For the Design Week they celebrate the opening of a new studio in Via Ventura, Lambrate Zone, and their tenth year of activity.
To mark this anniversary, Arabeschi di Latte invited DesignMarketo, a project by Jerome Rigaud and Alexandre Bettier. The two, based in London, has developed a web platform to help young designers reach a wider audience. They was invited in Florence to explore the huge archive of Arabeschi and to select a collection of objects -useful and useless, bizarre and banal, everyday and extraordinary – accumulated by the italian collective in ten years.
The result of this collaboration is Wundertute: a sort of surprise-shop with a lucky dip. Find a bean in the right piece of cake and bring you home a special collection of objects!
A magic experience in the new studio in via Ventura, enjoy the reportage!
