55th Edition of Venice Biennale, il palazzo enciclopedico
VENICE, Italy – On my flight back to London I had realized that 5 days in a car-less island of art and beauty had sucked out any kind of energy I had left. It was the 55th edition of the Venice Biennale curated by Massimiliano Gioni. From the first night I arrived there was always an insane party by night, (which probably influenced the amount of work I managed to see) and during the day an overflow of cultural events and private views were on the to do list. Drinking started at 2pm by the latest. Alike humans under the age of 15, I love contemporary Art most when it’s interactive; So it would be impossible not to mention Vadim Zahkarov’s piece at the Russian pavilion. Read more…
