Bestival 2011

music

Fuzzy head and weary legs: this is the post-Bestival and who has been there, knows exactly what i am talking about.

Bestival, the 4 days festival born from and idea of dj and record producer Rob Da Bank, has been held once again at the Robyn Hill Country Park and attracted more than 50.000 visitors this year.

Under the creative direction of Josie Da Bank and co-founders/partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved, the festival continues to be considered alternative and diverse, offering a unique experience not only in terms of music to all festival lovers.

Bestival is also known for its fancy dress party and the theme this year was divas and superstars.

Headliners of the 2011 edition have been The Cure (it took Rob Da Bank almost 7 years to convince Robert Smith to take the ferry to the island), Bjork, Robyn, Primal Scream, Groove Armada, Pendulum, Mercury prize winner P J Harvey, Fatboyslim, The Drums, Public Enemy, Kelis and many many more.
