Portobello Market London

Yes, it’s overrated. Yes, there are tons of tourists. Yes, after ages i went back to Portobello flea market last weekend.

The market is filled with vendors selling everything from jewelry to vintage maps to antique plates to authentic leather bags. It has a huge variety of shops both indoors and on the street, so get ready to spend a good two hours perusing the place and walking all the way to the end, if the saturday crowd doesn’t stop you too often.

Believe it or not you can still find some decently priced antique jewelry and it is still a great place to find unusual things you won’t see anywhere else.

The whole place is like a wonderful outdoor community. Just go there with a good attitude, pick a sunny, dry day and enjoy the experience as in the photo gallery below.

My friend told me about this place when she visited London for the Royal Wedding. She said it is the best street market in UK where everything that are antique and vintage are sold. I would love to visit the place soon.
